An Apple Watch changed my life⌚️
This is my second Apple Watch in the last 5 years and it’s worth every penny
How an Apple Watch that costed me ₹53,000 be an investment⬇️💰
If you feel the watch is expensive there is a solution at the end of the thread 🤩
A short thread 🧵
I bought my first Apple Watch in 2019 which was the series 3 and I didn’t appreciate it as a fitness device as I bought it only as a hype and as an addition the apple ecosystem.
Here’s why my opinion changed over time⬇️
⌚️The move,exercise and stand rings:
It automatically creates a FOMO to close them everyday which In turn makes you do some sort of a physical activity.
This real-time data empowered me to set personalized goals and track their progress more effectively.
Through daily activity reminders, friendly competitions with friends, and achievements, the Apple Watch provided me with a a constant source of encouragement and accountability.
⌚️Comprehensive workout tracking:
The watch’s workout app offered a wide range of exercise tracking options, including running, cycling, swimming, and more.
The Apple Watch’s seamless integration with health and wellness apps allowed users to access a vast library of
workout routines, meditation programs, and nutrition guidance, right from my wrist. This made it easier for me to adopt healthier habits and stay on track.
I try to hit 8000-9000 steps everyday and the watch motivates me to do the same.
Beyond fitness, the Apple Watch also plays a crucial role in monitoring health parameters, like ECG and blood oxygen level measurement.
Helps me keep a closer eye on the well-being.
Early detection of potential health issues can be done using the watch.
⌚️Apple ecosystem:
The amazing Apple ecosystem Enables seamless connectivity across all my apple devices.
Seamless and regular updates make my Apple Watch almost as good as the latest ones.
⌚️Watch faces:
Best watch faces among the Industry and regular new additions to the watch store keeps the experience refreshing even if your watch is 2-3 generations old.
Now let’s get to the price.
I agree that the price of the watch is high.
If you cannot afford to buy a latest Apple Watch here what you can do.
As we all know, Apple devices don’t feel that outdated even 2,3,5 years down the line.
The series 5, which costed me 53,000 can be bought in second hand market for roughly ₹18-20k
I am what does cellular version of the watch you certainly don’t need to get the cellular one.
The GPS ones would cost even less roughly in the 14 K to 15 K range.
My brother recently bought Apple Watch series 4 for roughly ₹8000 from the second hand market and it feels exactly the same as my watch.
The series 4 got an update and some design changes over series 3 and till the series 6 they look the same,Except some sensors here and there
If you have an iPhone an Apple Watch is certainly a great addition to your collection.
Instead of going for some shady brand watch for 4-5k ,which are trash to use and don’t offer the accuracy and integration that an Apple Watch provides get an used one.
If you can find a clean watch series 4, 44mm for around 8-11k you should buy it right away.
You can use it for 2-3 years and still sell it for 3-4k.
