GÉNERAL MUHAMMADU BUHARI, THE PRESIDENT THAT DARED AND CONQUERED BOTH MEN AND SPIRITS.
Before I attempt to dive into this long thread, I will first itemize all the challenges he met on ground and those that sprang up through out his tenure.
Just like I said before, I am not fluent in spoken English so don't expect to see good grammar, any grammatical and error u see just look and pass, if u correct me, block straight 😜😜😜
Before handing over in may 29th 2015, this were the obvious challenges facing the country that I know.
1. Massive terrorism activities in most part of the country of all kind. Abuja people can relate better.
2. Serious energy crises, no single hope for a local solution ...
... (Any attempt at subsidy removal will see to the end of your tenure from day one)
3. World crude oil price crises (foreign reserve was at $30b to $29b and still dropping and came to $23b as at mid or late 2016 when floating was tested)
4. Food crises. (A country that depend on import 4 her food supply is doomed. Omo, na only God know wyting 4 happen during covid)
5. Infrastructure decay (Road, rail, sea transport, schools, hospital, housing etc. On road alone, 203 project was either abandoned or ongoing)
6. Corruption (this one is endemic but was also dealt with sha)
Having all this on your table in your face day in office from an opposition transition that their plan is for u to fail, a political party that is a conglomerate of four major party with regional heavy weight ...
... Steering at u in your eyes and in your dream with their long list of nominees and their obvious enemies that dy want u to crush.
You will not only hit the ground running, you might not even see the ground to hit cos you might run mad before crashing eventually.
Even the enigma admitted it in 2016 that he wanted to abscond on assumption of office.
🤣🤣🤣 it was really crazy. When u see your major source of income facing world crises beyond ur control and a world recession steering at your face. Omo, me I for jejely japa aswear 😜😜😜
But as a General that he his, he fold up his sleeves and face the challenges head on (anything wy wan happen, make e happen, las las God did not design Nigeria to fail).
From day one, he made three daring statements.
1. I belong to everybody and to nobody.
2. He ordered the relocation of the defense command center to Maiduguri.
3. Stop the amnesty program which was later reverse.
Now let's start with security.
It will be good if we first identify all the flash points so we can understand where we were.
1. BH/ISWAP in north east, west and center with bomb factory in kogi, kano and others.
It was so bad dat foreign mercenaries were brought in.

2. We have the farmers headers flashes in the northwest, east and Central.
The zamfare issue started as a clash between the Fulani headers and the housa farmers and spiral into gun struggle in 2012.
u can watch the video documentary "the bandit warlord of zamfara" by @ankaboy
3. Some months into his government, the Niger Delta Avengers sprang up with heavy bombardment of oil pipelines and installation. No doubt it was a response from the just defeated opposition and also the termination of oil security contractors. Omo, this particular section go long
4. We have the IPOB in the south east which were also funded by the opposition till they went out of there control.
I think I will rest here a bit before diving into how they were handled.
Stay tuned.
This was how our roads were before.
Abuja and my northern people, Una don forget?
