Many seem to have more faith in secular education than an Islamic education.
So let’s see what happens when you prioritize the latter:
1. LANGUAGE:
Mastering the complexities of Arabic will indeed increase IQ thus making it very easy to learn a different language
2. MATH:
Learning and studying the Fiqh Of Inheritance, Alms tax, Buying and Selling automatically forces one to be proficient in mathematics.
3. HISTORY:
Studying the many books of Tārīkh from Adam to the Sīrah and onwards until modern day will make one knowledgeable in it.
4. LAW:
Nothing better than studying and mastering the Law Of Allah.
You can also refer back to the Tārīqh books to have a general knowledge of the laws of previous nations until our day with the different laws and systems humans have invented.
5. SOCIAL:
Look no further than the many many books on Manners & Etiquettes and the Fiqh of Social Dealings (Mu’āmalāt)
6. SCIENCE & HEALTH:
Studying the many books on the human body along with its ailments & cures written by ‘Ulemā
7. PHILOSOPHY:
This is a no brainer but studying the many books on the Falāsifah and the refutation of their arguments will also allow one to be knowledgeable in that field (without putting your Imān at a detriment)
8. POETRY & ELOQUENCE:
I don’t need to say much here.
There are many subjects which one can study on their own time like geography etc and even with all this many Islamic Universities provide STEM degrees for those who want to go in to those fields to benefit the Muslims.
Let’s not act like prioritizing Islamic Education will leave you behind.
If I’ve missed anything feel free to add.
