1) Actually I was told every time I pointed to "western" allied soldiers abuse and rape of women of the "liberated" areas, that this never happened. In fact its very difficult to find this in the public domain while official agitprop on red army rape of German women abound.
2) While the Italian incident described here, is known, the film is rarely run and is "artistically" obtuse in its references to the culprits. Only recently "scholarly" study on US army mens kind behaviour on "liberated" French women, appeared. You will never get a film on it.
3) references to contemporary complaints or "studies" of allied soldiers treatment of "liberated" women do appear - but when you dig in u wont find the actual complaints. In fact if you search for records, you will see a glittering adobe wall - so clean and sterilized it all is.
4) tellingly, western annual whack-a-German fests gloat on torture of captured allied female spies, or in concentration camps, but never ever do they mention what Germans did on Russian women during their 4 year vacation in the east.
5) this actually shows the mindset: they r mortally scared to acknowledge both their own soldiers atrocities on women, as well as that of German atrocities on Soviet women - because they fear both will soften their construction of the one and only villain.
