I grew to 12,600 follows in 6,5 months.
And then I:
• Monetized to $12,250/mo
• Created a viral trend
• Onboarded 7 high ticket clients
• Made friends with 150k+ accs
This is the Ultimate Personal Branding case study.
0/ Why Brand Strategy
Back in December I had literally 0 plans.
• Posted tweets on random topics
• Targetted nobody with my content
As a result, everything flopped.
The biggest difference between small and big accounts was 1 thing:
A brand strategy.
1/ First Addendum - Positioning
What people lack in the most is sticking out from the crowd.
"Just post value, be entertaining" is extraordinary advice... If you're stuck in 2021.
The main part of positioning?
Profile optimization.
I nailed it BEFORE I even wrote content.
2/ Second Addendum - Targetting
I understood that when you target everyone - you target no one.
What great brands do well is:
• They target one Ideal Client Profile
• They obsess over understanding them
• They deliver solutions to their problems
I applied the same.
3/ Third Addendum - Content
I use the EVA framework.
• Entertainment Mornings
• Value Noons
• Authority Afternoons
This allows me to get traffic, nurture it and convert it on daily basis.
What good is amazing content if nobody reads it?
Exactly.
I post 3-4 times a day.
A noteworthy addition that should be mentioned is that I sometimes spice things up.
If I already ran through the daily loop but lack something - I'll just pick one type of posts from EVA framework.
Simple, and it always works.
4/ Fourth Addendum - Engagement
I never wanted to slave away to the algo.
But only in the 3rd month of my journey I found a viable strategy.
• Commenting ~50/day
• Prioritising replies
• Then posts of my homies
• Then everything else
I also spiced it up with a list...
I've gone through:
• Accounts of my friends
• Their follows/following
• Referrals I've gotten to others
Then I compiled a list of 30+ people whom:
• Content I like
• Classify as friends
• Are good in my niche
I go through it anytime TL runs dry.
5/ The Hero Journey
What makes brands unique is they're deeply personal.
• You're a hero
• You've a nemesis
• You save others from that nemesis
• Then tell the story about it
@TheSebasHidalgo is one of the people who understand this.
It's the story that builds brands.
6/ Close Circle
A close circle is a be or not to be of many brands.
I was lucky to find a circle of crazy crocmen.
@LaddLaddLadd
@glennwrites1
@TatsukiThomas
We:
• Network daily
• Share ideas
• Test things
It's what MrBeast did.
You just evolve at 4X the speed.
7/ Valuetainment
And no, not the podcast that interviewed Tate.
People like 3 things:
• Entertainment
• Pure value
• Proof
My brand deeply balances on amount of people that like it.
But it's the value and proof that get me clients.
So I balanced teaching with joking.
8/ Trends
Crocs trend started as an inner groupjoke.
It ended up crossing 13k daily tweets on it.
What did I learn?
• Twitter is just a hivemind
• People love uniqueness
• Sticking out = winning
Reason for which you MUST be unique.
@waronweakness has watermelons.
@TatsukiThomas has peanut butter.
@IAmAaronWill has mullet.
@ItsKieranDrew has OF.
Every single brand that grows fast has some sort of a quirk.
A catchphrase. A joke.
It's unfair, sure.
Abuse it then.
9/ Account Theme
Extremely important factor.
@thejoshuageelen was one of the earliest creators to go all into this.
He decided to pursue authenticity within his brand strategy.
So what do I pursue?
• Making YOU unforgettable
• Bringing YOU more cash
• BEING myself
Simple.
10/ The "Method" Branding
Many people use it.
Russian Doll method.
Goldilocks method.
PHARO method.
Terminator method.
EVA method.
I branded several strategies and names unique to my brand.
Remnant Brain. Terminator. Goblins.
Catchphrase + method = an unforgettable brand.
11/ Values
So many people lose themselves when chasing clients.
I didn't.
I underline what I stand for.
I stand for freedom. Autonomy. Not cash.
And my mission is to help others achieve the same state of being as well.
12/ Offer and Funnel
@thesamocean is the KING of offer crafting.
He reviewed and loved my offer.
I crafted it stading by these 6 metrics:
• Simplicity
• Credibility
• Affordability
• Relatability
• Curiosity
• Expandability
I made myself and the offer SCARCE.
13/ Client Acquisition
I get 95% of my clients from inbound leads and referrals.
But over all of it, I deliver them results.
• I promise only what I've achieved
• Craft tailored curated strategies
I care for people who I work with.
And results simply follow.
Client = king
Bonus 1/ Spaces
Most people rarely leverage spaces.
@GregLunt27 is one of the people who do.
Honestly?
Since I hopped on 2+ spaces every week my entire business skyrocketed.
People love seeing you speak. People love socialising. So do that.
Bonus 2/ Be Yourself
@lessaraebiger is easily one of my favorite creators on here.
Does she sell me random stuff every 2nd tweet?
Does she try to act as someone she isn't?
Exactly. Be yourself.
Bonus 3/ F*ck the Gurus
I'm no guru myself.
And I hated listening to tight strategies of theirs.
@erwanlier doesn't give a damn about any strategies.
And honestly? His content is certainly interesting.
I'd love to help you build your brand the same way as well.
I mentor people who want to make their brand foundation to their business.
So if you want to build a brand better than 99% - my paid mentorship is for you.
I'll be waiting.
That's a wrap!
I seriously hope this helped you.
