The Odyssey Plan is a way to map out your life and ensure you’re making the right decision.
No more ‘what-ifs’, no more walking through life blindly.
You need to be purposeful with your actions.

Step 1:
Think about 3 different paths your life could take.

Keep reading:
Peter’s a college major doubling up as Spiderman in his free time.
Path 1: he quits being Spiderman and goes full-time into college.
Path 2: he continues being Spiderman and does college on the side.
Path 3: he moves to Cuba and starts a marketing agency.

Step 2:
Now that Peter has 3 pathways, he’s going to create an Odyssey plan for each one.
Each plan will be split up into five years.

Step 3:
The key is to start at the finish line.
At the end of year 5 for each pathway, you’re going to write down a big goal to accomplish for each path.

For Peter, the end goals for each path are as follows...
Path 1: wins the Nobel Prize for Physics and gets his PHD.
Path 2: becomes a hero and joins the Avengers.
Path 3: gains financial freedom and becomes a Twitter micro-celebrity.

Step 4:
Now it’s time to go back and amend years 1-4.
Peter has the goal he wants to achieve in year 5 for each pathway.
But how is he going to get there?

For each plan, you’re going to write down what your life would look like from years 1-4.
Don’t just think about yourself, think about your personal life too.
How would your family be affected?
How would your dating life change?

For Peter, being Spiderman would mean danger for his family and friends.
That’s something to take into account.
Being in college would mean a more boring life.
Maybe he would feel unfulfilled, but his family would be safe.
There’s a lot to consider.

Step 6:
Time to have a break.
Add a few things you want to do for fun every year.
Maybe you have the Olympics coming up in your country?
Maybe it’s a Beyonce concert?
Factor these into your plan.

You have your very own Odyssey plan.
You have 3 directions your life could take.
3 pathways you could go down.
3 versions of your day-to-day life to follow.
3 massive goals to achieve.

But now you’re not making decisions without thinking.
When you make a big decision, you know the effects it’ll have on your long-term future.
You know exactly HOW that decision will affect your day-to-day life.
