I buy this massage chair for $4,350 from a supplier, sell it for $10,048 on my online store, and profit $4,700.
Without ever seeing or touching the product.
It's called "High Ticket Dropshipping".
Here's how it works:
Here is what I do:
1. I identify high price products (ideally over $3,000) with high demand. The higher the price, the more net profit per sale I make. I check demand using a keyword tool.
2. Once I find a great product, I identify the top suppliers in the US for that product.
3. I create a demo store on Shopify with some sample products, that way I come across professional and trustworthy.
4. I reach out to suppliers and introduce my brand and explain the value I will bring their business, and become an authorized retailer of their products.
5. I use Google and Bing ads to target people searching for the EXACT brands and products I'm selling.
6. Whenever I make a sale, my supplier ships the products from their warehouse directly to my customer. I never see/touch the items.
7. Iโ€™m selling high ticket items so customers have high expectations, so I make sure I provide exceptional service and support.
8. If the brands/products are good, sales should begin to pour in and I start getting notifications like this:
Using this process I generated over $5,000,000 in sales over the last 18 months.
The crazy part is, I started with only $3,500.
Now that we know how it works, letโ€™s look at one of the products I sell:
Product: Massage chair
Customer pays me: $10,048
I pay the supplier: $4,350
Ads: $1,000~
Net profit: $4,700
If I make 3 sales/mo thatโ€™s $175,000/yr in PROFIT.
This store currently makes 2-3 sales per day on average.
Average order value is $4-5K.
I started this business 19 months ago when I was in my final year of law school.
In my 3rd month I was already making more than I would in a year as a lawyer.
It was NOT easy, this is a real business that requires hard work.
But thatโ€™s whatโ€™s possible when done right.
At this point it takes me around 1h per week to run my business.
I outsource all of the day to day work - inventory, customer service, order submissions to my team.
