Do you Overthink a lot?
Than use these 6 Secrets..
1} Breathe
If you catch yourself overthinking, take a deep breath.
Remind yourself that the present moment is all you have and all that matters.
2} Worry Time
Choose a certain period of time when you allow yourself to overthink.
Once you catch yourself overthinking, say to yourself not now and save the thoughts for later.
3} Exercise
Start:
- Hitting the Gym
- Mindful activities
- A physical hobby you liked as a kid
- Force yourself out of the comfort zone
This will help you focus more on the moment and reduce stress/tension.
4} Thoughts
Think optimistic even when the situation is bad. Focus more on what you can control.
5} Limit Information Overload
In the digital age, we are bombarded with information from various sources.
Set boundaries for:
- TV
- Social media
and focus more on quality information and reliable sources.
6} Take Action
Overthinking often comes from feeling stuck or indecisive. Break the cycle by taking action.
Start with small, manageable steps towards your goals.
