There have been many wars in history.
Lands & treasures have changed hands between tribes, nations & empires.
But Western imperialism stands out in that "scientific racism" plays a big role in the motivations, methods of war & subsequent treatment of the conquered/colonised.
2/
"Scientific racism" has its beginning in 17th century Europe.
It's a concept based around the belief that some races are biologically superior to others.
It eventually led to eugenics becoming state policy in the UK, U.S. & in many Western countries, including Nazi Germany.
3/
Modern eugenics was pioneered by Sir Francis Galton in 19th century UK.
An attempt to "improve" the gene pool of society, eugenics involved preventing certain groups of people from reproducing.
That often meant genociding some "inferior" races such as colonised natives.
4/
"Scientific racism" made Western colonisers particularly brutal towards the non-European peoples they conquered.
This is because they view them as sub-humans & beasts... destined to serve the European master race or be exterminated.
5/
Hitler is often portrayed by the West as the most evil man that ever lived.
But whatever Nazi Germany did to other White people for a few short years, Western colonisers have done worst to their non-White victims for centuries.
The Nazis simply did it more efficiently.
6/
"Scientific racism" did not end with the surrender of the Nazis in 1945.
It's simply rebranded as liberal democracy & “rules-based international order”.
It's goals remained the same.
The global south is still being bombed, looted & forced to serve the Western ruling class.

Addendum:
Did you know that the U.S. used to have "human zoos" to showcase the various "sub humans" they brought back from Africa & Asia?

Addendum:
Charles Darwin was a proponent of "scientific racism".
His work inspired Sir Francis Galton who pioneered modern eugenics... which gained support among America's rulers & wealthiest elites.
It was later adopted by Hitler, a U.S. admirer.

Addendum:
Ordinary Russians (as opposed to their germanic Tsars) are viewed by some in the West as Eurasians because Russia was under Mongol rule for centuries.
Some even called them "Orcs" as insult.
According to Tolkien lore, the Orcs were once fair-skinned, noble Elves.

Addendum:
As an admirer of the West, the Empire of Japan similarly subscribed to "scientific racism" & adopted eugenics.
Like Nazi Germany (which viewed the Nordics as superior White stock), Imperial Japan dehumanised other conquered Asians as inferior & brutalised them.

Addendum:
Millions of Indians served in the army of the British Empire... many willingly.
But while the Indian soldiers saw themselves as proud servants of the British Empire, the Japanese saw them as biologically inferior to the White British...

Addendum:
In Australia, "scientific racism" was responsible for the cruel abuse & genocide of Aboriginals by early White settlers.
The White Australia Policy immigration system was also established to prevent non-Whites from entering Australia. It persisted until 1973.

Addendum:
America's CIA dropped more than 2 MILLION TONNES of cluster bombs on Laos... more than all the bombs dropped in WW2 combined.
Unexploded bombs still kill & maim innocent Lao today.
"Scientific racism" makes the U.S. callously genocidal...

Addendum:
The U.S. indiscriminately carpet-bombed North Korea in the 1950s.
20% of North Korea's entire population was wiped out.
The murderous Douglas MacArthur wanted to also nuke China after losing to the Chinese.
"Scientific racism" makes the U.S. callously genocidal.

Addendum:
After years of being bogged down in China, Japan was ready to surrender when news came the Soviets were about to invade Manchuria.
To prevent Japan from surrendering to the Soviets, the U.S. decided to act first & nuked Japan.
Countless Japanese civilians died.
