Appario is not only an Amazon seller but also touted as one of its most "trusted" sellers. However, complaints have been piling up against them.
A quick Twitter search on Appario reveals numerous instances of customers receiving counterfeit products in the past month alone. (2)

Apparently, Sandeep mailed Jeff Bezos team. Though, even that didn't work for him. (4)
The alarming aspect is that despite people expressing their concerns on social media and even reaching out to Jeff Bezos directly via email, it seems that no effective action has been taken. (5)

Dharmesh received a counterfeit Apple watch and even obtained Email from Apple confirming that product sold to him is not genuine. But Amazon didn't help him either. (6)
Deepak, like many others, also encountered a defective Apple Watch. Surprisingly, despite the passage of four months, Apple has neither provided assistance nor issued a refund to him. (7)

Interestingly, in November of last year, Amazon decided to close Appario Retail and delist it as a seller within the next 12 months.

As per the guidelines, these 3P (third party) sellers (Amazon, Flipkart) won't be allowed to partner with sellers, or own any brand which is selling on the platform.

Till then, Amazon will be a partner with these "biggest" sellers like Appario.
