Ibn Arabi: Allah worships me.
(Page 83, kitabFusus Al Hikam by Ibn Arabi )
-Taqi Uthmani: I find nothing in his works contradicting the Qur'an & the Sunnah.
Shaykh al Akbar of Ulema Deoband and Ulema Barelwi,Sufi Deobandi Mufti Muhammad Taqi Utmani says:
‘‘As regards to what Shaykh Ibn ‘Arabi & Shaykh Mujaddid al-Alf al-Thani said, we assign its reality to Allah Most High,
and we do not speak insolently about them,
for indeed they spoke about these issues due to a reason they know best, and there is Nothing in what they said that directly clashes with the texts.’’
(Wahdat al-Wujud, Wahdat al-Shuhud and the Safest Position).
Sheīkh al-Islam Of Deobandi,Taqi Uthmanī also claims that Imām Abu Hanīfah could see the sins of people..
This Narration regarding Abu Hanīfah is Fabricated and in 'Fathul Mulhim' It is stated the Al-Suyooti said:
‘Sins leave a darkness on one’s outer and inner self, which is visible to the people blessed with kashf (divine insight).’
We don't agree with Suyooti here and his
Statement is not a Hujjah (Proof), Allah didn't even grant this ability to his Messenger but I am flabbergasted that some people actually believe that this was granted to Abu Hanīfah..
The Hanafis and Their Attack on the Sahabah
In Some Hanafī Fiqh books, it is stated that: Abu Hurayrah “ was not a Faqih, & his riwayah should be abandoned if it's in contradiction to qiyās"
- Check Nur al-Anwar, pg. 183 & Usul al-Shashi pg. 85
Shaykh Muqbīl said the following:
“The most extreme followers of the madhhabs in their fanaticism are the Hanafis.”
From the oddest and most repugnant affairs is that which comes from some of the Hanafis, as is mentioned within Siyar A’lam An- Nubala (2/619):
“Al-Hafidh Abu Sa’d As-Sam’ani said: ‘I heard Abu Ma’mar Al-M ubarak Ibn Ahmad saying: ‘I heard Abul-Qasim Yusuf Ibn Ali Az-Zanjani,
the faqih, saying: ‘I heard the faqih, Abu Ishaq Al- Fayruzabadi, saying: ‘I heard Al-Qadi Abu-Tayyib saying:
‘We were in a knowledge-based gathering within the central masjid of Al-Mansur when a young Khurasani man came and asked regarding the issue of al- musarrah; and he
sought evidence. The hadith of Abu Hurayrah which has come regarding the issue was used as evidence.
The young man (who was Hanafi) said: ‘Abu Hurayrah’s ahadith are not acceptable.’ And the discussion had not completed until a large snake fell upon him from the ceiling of the
masjid. The people were alarmed due to it, and the young man ran from it while it pursued him.
It was said to him: ‘Repent, repent.’ So he said: ‘I repent.’ And the snake then retreated, and one did not see any traces of it.’
Imam Adh-Dhahabi said that within its chain of narrations are Imams, and Abu Hurayrah is the epitome of memorization in that which he heard from the Messenger and conveying it to the letter. He narrated the hadith of al-musarrah with its wording.
Therefore, it is incumbent upon us to act upon it; as it is a foundation.”.
