Nigerians don’t need palliatives. What Nigerians need is good governance free of corruption and corrupt practices. Nigerians don’t need NASS to accommodate those who have ruined the nation. Nigerians need decent men and women of integrity to lead by examples.
Talking of palliatives to cushion the effect of withdrawal of subsidy is political talks rooted in the same ways of inflicting pains on Nigerians. Nigerians want their natural resources applied Justly equitably and judiciously. Nigerians want functional govt without looters.
What Nigerians want is democratic governance where the best lead without imposing cronies and crooks on them. Nigerians are not interested in democratic despotism where the will of the people is truncated for the interest of tinny cabals. Nigerians are tired of rhetorics.
These talks of palliatives and borrowing money to give palliatives to unknown people is as wicked and crooked as the subsidies removed from petroleum products. We should not be deceived. Nigerians want open transparent governance. Nigerians are tired of crooked govt magic.
