I'm 17 years old and I've gotten:
- 8626 followers
- 5 clients
- $5174
From creating content I love.
All because I learned about this one little-known concept:
//A THREAD//
Creating an attractive character is something that EVERY business should do, but doesn’t
It'll drastically increase how many:
- Sales
- Clients
- Followers
You get per month
I can guarantee you that once you properly implement this, your business will never be the same again
//What is an Attractive Character?//
An attractive character is a persona you create for yourself online to attract an audience as well as customers for your product or service.
It’ll also determine the way you communicate with these people.
And by persona, I don't mean faking who you are.
I'm completely against that.
I just mean being more INTENTIONAL about how you portray your AUTHENTIC self online.
You need to show and tell people who you truly are as much as possible.
Believe it or not but if you can create a character that's attractive enough...
You could get sales just from that, regardless of how good or bad your offer is.
We can see this apply to other areas such as the film industry.
Think about the last time you watched a movie.
Was it because you thought the plot was interesting or was it because your favourite actor was in it?
You can get people to invest their time, energy and/or money into your offer if you're attractive enough to them.
Now...
How do you create your own Attractive Character?
There are 3 components to creating one:
1. Elements
2. Identity
3. Storylines
You need all 3 of these to create a character that people will follow.
Component #1: Elements
An Attractive Character has 4 elements:
1. A Backstory
You need a good backstory to see results from this
"You share your backstory because you want people to see where you came from.
If they can relate to where you came from, then they'll want to follow you to where you are now"
- Russel Bruson
2. Attractive Characters speak in Parables
Parables are short stories that are easy to remember and are used to illustrate a relevant point.
Use Parables to teach your audience core principles that you need them to understand.
3. Attractive Characters share their character flaws
This is the most difficult part for some, but also one of the most important parts.
Sharing your flaws makes you come off as more relatable and real.
No one wants to hear about the perfect person - because you can't relate.
4. Attractive Characters are polarizing
Another challenge people face (myself included) is trying not to offend anyone.
This seems like a logical thing to do.
You run less of a risk of
Hate comments
Disagreements
Unfollows
BUT
At a big cost...
You're now boring.
Component #2: Identity
Your Attractive Character will take on one of the following identities:
You can pick which one you want to be, but once we go over the choices, you'll probably immediately know which one is right for you.
**The Leader**
The role of the leader is usually to take people through a transformation.
Most leaders have similar backstories to that of their audience, which means they know which struggles, frustrations and obstacles their audience will likely encounter along their journey.
This helps so much when trying to figure out who your dream customer is.
**The Adventurer or Crusader**
The Adventurer is someone that is very curious but does not have all the answers.
They set out on a journey to find the truth everyone is looking for and comes back to report their findings to their audience.
**The Reporter or Evangelist**
This identity is adopted by someone that's in the process of achieving a result but isn't exactly sure how to do it.
So what they do is interview people who have achieved that result and get them to share what they've learned along the way.
**The Reluctant Hero**
This is the humble hero who doesn't really want the spotlight over the discoveries they've made.
But they know their knowledge is so important that they must overcome their shyness and share it with the world.
To recap:
The Leader
The Adventurer
The Reporter
The Reluctant Hero
You probably identify strongly with one of these four archetypes
Component #3: Storylines
Stories are the best way to communicate with your audience.
There are 3 storylines that businesses use over and over again in emails, sales letters, landing pages etc...
//Loss and Redemption//
β€œI had everything. I was on top of the world.
Life was great.
Then _____ happened. I had to figure my way out of ____.
But it turned out to be a blessing in disguise because I went through ____, and I learned/received ____.
Now I _____.”
//Us vs Them//
You want to use these types of stories to further polarize your audience.
You remember the power of Polarity?
These stories will bring your raving fans even closer by making them feel like they're fighting a battle against others.
//Before and After//
"First I was ____. Now I'm ____."
These stories of transformation work great in any market.
One of the most popular ones is the Fat to Fit transformation.
That's all folks.
