Peak: (Benzema 21/22) v (Suarez 15/16)
Benzema 🇫🇷 21/22 Stats:
44 Goals & 15 Assists (46 GP)
Suárez 🇺🇾 15/16 Stats:
58 Goals & 24 Assists (53 GP)

It's very clear that in Suarez's peak season, he was putting up the better stats and based off of individual accolades, Suarez had the better peak.
Based off of team success though, Real Madrid in 21/22 won both LaLiga and UCL, while 15/16 Barcelona only won LaLiga and Copa Del Rey, so Benzema had more team success.
Overall though, it is clear that Suarez was the better goal scorer (won european golden shoe), and playmaker, and so I would give peak to Suarez despite Benzema's Ballon d'Or.
Longevity:
In terms of their play when they got older, Benzema was easily better at an older age, but it is very easy to argue that Suarez still had better longevity.

As a 34 year old, Benzema was the best player in the world in a season that both Messi and Ronaldo had off-seasons. Suarez peaked at a time when Messi and Ronaldo were still the two best players in the world, and still won 2 Golden Boots.
While Benzema was good at a later age, you can likely say Suarez had better longevity due to the fact that he was consistently world class from 2012-2021 while Benzema was always inconsistent.
Despite the Ballon d'Or as a 34 year old, I would still give longevity to Luis Suarez just because he was more consistently the best.

I understand Benzema had a ban against him representing France for quite awhile, but it is still clear that Luis Suárez is the much better international performer.

In the end, the debate is closer than it seems due to the massive amount of accolades and trophies won by Benzema, but even then it becomes obvious how clear Luis Suárez really is.
