It really doesn't make sense for the US to be engaging in de facto tax competition without even getting the revenues. The status quo is a give away to big Pharma, and the Ireland's and Singapore's of the world.

I was a bit disappointed one side of the aisle spent the entire hearing on pharmaceutical taxation launching populist attacks on the OECD agreement. Still a long way from consensus on needed changes.
