How to have a healthy libido (as a man).
A masterclass🧵
Note: This will be an incredibly long thread, but i guarantee that for the very few of you without fired dopamine receptors who will manage to sit down, read it and implement the material inside, that it will be one of the, if not the, most effective threads when it comes to…
But even though this thread works, i have to clarify in advance that out of the very few people who will read it, even FEWER will actually implement it since the frame it proposes is not easy.
So if you expect some easy solution, save yourself the time and go back to scrolling…
Now let's begin.
Also standard disclaimer that this does not constitute medical advice*
Not so long ago, issues such as ED and low libido were nonexistent amongst the vast majority of men.
Today this is obviously not the case with guys as young as 20 experiencing them.
Of course, more and more older men experience these problems as well which can be quite devastating to a man’s confidence.
I mean think about how it would feel for your pal down there to NOT WORK WHATSOEVER.
It's not that pleasant of an experience.
Besides this, if these issues weren't on the rise, online forums filled with these discussions wouldn’t exist but also, supplements and pharmaceuticals…
Now allow me to day two things.
Number 1: Your libido is a marker for your overall health.
Number 2: You should NOT try to treat your libido with pharmaceuticals and dangerous supplements most likely, because:
1. Safer and MORE effective alternatives exist
But also
2. These…
Now libido obviously is a complex topic if someone is struggling with serious issues, but from my experience with clients, the tips that are inside here work like a charm.
Now, this thread will be broken down into two parts.
Number 1: Low libido
Number 2: Extremely high libido…
So let’s begin with low libido.
First of all, one big cause will be high prolactin.
I highly suggest testing prolactin and not self diagnosing yourself with low prolactin.
The test is cheap and highly worth it.
Now, IF your prolactin levels are high, i would also suggest testing your thyroid since prolactin is greatly governed by the thyroid gland.
After you’ve done these, in case your prolactin is fine, here are some tips that could help you out:
Number 1: Get enough vitamin D,…
Another reason why so many experience low libido nowadays is exposure to xenoestrogens.
Xenoestrogens are estrogestrogen-mimickingunds that are not produced by your body and are structurally or functionally related to human sex hormone 17β-estradiol and bind the estrogen…
Some practical steps that you can take include:
Number 1: Ditching:
-Tap water
-Polyester
-Herbicides and pesticides
-Toxic hygiene products
-Non stick pans
-Plastic (BPA and BPS)
Number 2: Getting in the sauna
Number 3: incorporating some mild natural aromatase inhibitors in your diet such as:
-Citrus fruits (or anything that contains naringenin)
-Chamomile
-Olive oil (and olives)
-Red palm oil
-Mushrooms
Number 4: Eating a raw carrot between meals that will help bind excess estrogens in the gut preventing their reabsorption.
Another crucial cause for low libido is hormonal imbalances.
Note: Even though the tips that i'll share here work great, it is impossible to teach someone…
Now some practical steps that you can do in order to fix the main hormonal imbalances that specifically affect libido include:
1. Optimizing your sleep.
Without quality sleep you can not expect to have healthy a healthy hormonal profile.
It is impossible.
A few things that…
-Avoiding irregular sleep and wake up times
-No stimulants
-No alcohol
-Waking up at roughly the same time every day.
-Exposing yourself to natural light first thing in the morning.
-Having a healthy breakfast (do not skip this part thinking that's not that big of a deal).…
2. Optimize your gut health.
Our gut health affects every single aspect of our overall health and our overall health is not an exception.
Gut health is an extremely complicated topic so i will try to provide some tips that will help MOST people.
-Cook all of your meals with quality ingredients
-Quit grains, nuts and seeds unless they are sprouted and consumed on rare ocassion
-Chew your food really well
-Do not eat stressed
-Eat more gelatinous foods and broths
-Quit corn, simple sugars such as high fructose corn…
3. Optimize your glucose metabolism.
It is been known for a long time now that things such as insulin resistance and diabetes are great ways to achieve ED.
Great ways.
A few things that you can do in order to avoid this fate include:
-Quitting alcohol, bad fats (canola oil…
4. Stop consuming anti-androgenic compounds and taking part in habits such as:
-Alcohol
-Not eating enough
-Stress
-Phytoestrogens
-Goitrogens
-Grains
-Train (lift HEAVY 3/week and do some HIIT once a week) but do not over-train.
-PUFAs
-Phytic acid
-Beta glucan…
Now some people might think:
"Hold on, George, i can't eat this, i can't eat that, what can i eat?".
Tons of things that will be mentioned down below because another thing that can negatively affect your libido is not providing the nutrients that our body needs by default for…
Another crucial cause of low libido is low blood volume/eNOS.
In order to tackle this, first and foremost you will need to get rid of vasoconstrictors such as:
-Nicotine
Now nicotine can be a tricky one because in the SHORT TERM, can increase your libido due to the rise in…
-Not getting any sunlight
-Food additives such as MSG
-Excessive serotonin
And then making sure that you:
-Are active throughout the day
-Eat fruits such high in vitamin C as berries
-Eat things such as garlic and onions
-Occasionally use ginger
-Drink some (do not over…
We then have another cause which is low dopamine.
But since i know that you're getting tired, i will give you the things with the biggest ROI dopamine wise.
Number 1: Spend less time in front of a screen
Number 2: Lower excessive serotonin (pay attention to the tryptophan…
And last but not lease here are some tools that can help you increase your libido:
-Pine pollen
-Royal jelly
-Shilajit
-Ginkgo
-Pregnenolone
-DHEA
-Tribulus
-Mucuna
-Cistanche
-Niacinamide (make sure to get enough B2 and B6 as well)
Note: Do NOT use all of these…
And now we've reached the last part of this thread which is addressing an over-active libido which usually is a sign of an adrenaline excess.
Some practical things that you can do if you are struggling this this include:
-Making sure that your diet has enough zinc since a zinc…
That was pretty much it.
Even though i get that this could seem like too much, especially in modern society where more and more people's dopamine receptors are getting fried, i hope that you actually learned something from this thread and gained some perspective on a few things…
If you liked this thread, i'd highly appreciate if you gave the first tweet a like.
