11 things a father must say to his daughter:
1. “I love you”
A father’s love is unconditional.
Love gives security, connection, and leads to healthy relationships.
Remind her every day how much you love her (no matter what).
2. “You are beautiful”
A good father gives his daughter lots of attention.
He listens, plays, and instills a sense of healthy confidence.
How you treat your daughter will normalize how she thinks men should treat her.
3. “It’s okay to be sad or angry. It’s not okay to stay sad or angry.”
To manage your emotions, you must be able to experience them.
A father needs to teach how to manage, understand, and regulate emotions.
4. “Respect your mother.”
How you treat your wife is what your daughter sees as normal behaviour.
No complaining, fighting, or disrespect.
“If the parent’s are okay, the kids are okay.”
5. “You can’t give what you don’t have.”
•Love
•Loyalty
•Empathy
•Happiness
A father needs to lead by example and show her what this lifestyle looks like.
6. “Trust your gut feeling.”
80% of communication is non-verbal.
Your feelings about people come from deep survival instincts.
Trust your gut feeling… It doesn’t lie.
7. “I’m proud of you. You have what it takes.”
You need to instil a healthy competitive nature, confidence, and self-reliance.
Competence and feeling useful aids in self esteem development.
8. “You will make a great mother one day.”
Motherhood is the most important role on earth.
A mother nurtures, cares, and forms a bond with children that will lay the foundation for the rest of their life.
It’s not easy, it’s not always fun, but the joy is amazing.
9. “I’m sorry”
Fathers make mistakes.
Take responsibility and prove that people aren’t perfect.
This shows failure is okay, and it’s healthy to make mistakes without quitting.
It’s okay to question authority and think for yourself because people are not perfect.
10. “You can be anything. You can’t be everything.”
In a world where everyone tells you what to do, the free-thinking individuals stick out.
Knowing how to think is better than what to think.
Teach her to think for herself, and do only what she wants to do.
11. “You deserve a man who will give you love, loyalty, and respect.”
Don’t settle for anything less.
