@artisbrutal2021 @cswarketatora Fema has been in Vermont since we flooded bad a few weeks ago and from what I hear from locals is they are giving out very little cash assistance (seems like about $3k per house if they don't find some reason to disqualify you).

But if you applied for assistance during that flood you are denied the current assistance being offer. Bunch of businesses that weathered covid are saying eff it and closing
@artisbrutal2021 @cswarketatora A lot of people have lost everything they own. And they are giving out only enough assistance to maybe keep up with bills for a month. They are trying to break peoples' spirits IMO and succeeding unfortunately. I've heard of a few suicides just this past week...
