Can you tell me what your channel trailer is right now? Most people I ask can't.
It's a shame because a channel trailer is an excellent way to boost passive sales or email sign-ups.
Let me show you how to transform it into a powerful sales tool. 👇🏼
You'll love this because it does three things:
1. Sells to people in a way that feels less "sleazy" to you.
2. Lets people know you're open for business.
3. It works!
But how do you use it?
1. Make a short promo video about your product or lead magnet.
2. Give it a super intriguing thumbnail and title.
3. Upload it and make it unlisted (but by all means, post it publicly too).
4. Go to your "customization" page and set it as your homepage video.
Bonus tip:
This video will autoplay on the desktop.
What that means is your opening line really needs to be captivating to ensure viewers stop and pay attention.
Here's how I achieved a 109% result on the intro of one of my channel trailers.
I showed an image and said, “If you can't spot the 5 mistakes in this thumbnail, your channel won't grow.”
Everyone paused it and went back to see if they could spot them.
If you can think of a visual hook that compels viewers to stop in their tracks, they're more likely to pay attention to the autoplaying content.
Then, all you need to do is put one link in the description and leave it.
