Okay, so how do you practice this?
Traditionally EMDR is done in a clinical setting, in the presence of a therapist.
However, you can make use of a simplified version of this i.e,
Lateral Eye Movements that you can practice anytime you have cravings at any place.

This is how you do it : Lateral eye movement (side-to-side) during self-generated forward motion (e.g., walking or cycling), has the effect of quietening the amygdala.

You can hack your brain to break free from stress-induced tunnel visions & cravings by something as simple as taking a walk in open space whilst looking side to side.
When walking forward, naturally scan the space ahead laterally (left to right).
