Fear affects everyone.
There's no person who is immune to fear. But the true strength lies in overcoming it.
Your fears may be caused by something outside. But how you respond to that is controlled by your mind.
Use these mind rules to control the response to your fears:

Use these mind rules to control the response to your fears:
Rule 1: Your mind follows your true wishes.
Your mind works on the information you give it.. right?
But unfortunately, it also gets stuck on that information.
This info could be from 10 years ago.
Your mind is stubborn it doesn't let go of that information.

Consider a time at the office when a presentation didn't go as planned and you thought, "I'm terrible at presenting."
That memory might make you nervous for future presentations.
To shift this consistently remind your mind of your capabilities and successes.

Whenever you come across your fears.
All you have to do is- give your mind new information.
Tell your mind what you want it to do:
• I am prepared, knowledgeable, and in control.
• I am unstoppable in my pursuit of excellence
• I deserve the best in life
and on and on

At times you do not even know, why are you afraid of something.
It is because your mind is stuck with information from the past.
Try this, Take one of your fears.
Think about what caused that fear.
Now tell yourself why you don't have to be afraid of that anymore.
Repeat.

Rule 2: Your words shape your reality.
Your mind strongly reacts to the pictures you make in your head.
If you see yourself failing, that might just happen.
But remember, you can change what you see and choose a winning path.
If you can't see winning at least don't see losing

What are you afraid of?
Speaking? See yourself blowing audience's mind
Flying? Imagine having fun drinking wine up there
Heights? Picture yourself on top of the world, breathing in the view
Your imagination is the key to conquering your fears. Use it to your advantage

3. Your mind likes what it knows:
That is why it is so difficult for you to wake up early, eat healthy, or make any new habit.
Because your brain does not want things to change. It wants you to be comfortable.
What do you do then ?
You make unfamiliar things familiar.

Have you noticed how you feel like going to the same place? sit in the same place/chair in you office or class? watch same series again?
Because your mind loves familiar things.
Repeatedly put yourself in situations that make you feel the fear and see your fear melt away.

Your mind holds the key to absolute freedom.
You can be in hell literally, but if you feel you are in heaven inside even hell won't matter.
On the flip side if you are in heaven but you feel like hell inside even heaven won't matter.
You hold the key.

I had developed a fear of speaking in public and knew the only way to get rid of it was to do it again and again till I got comfortable.
It takes time, but just knowing that you have the ability to change is the first big step.

The last time I discussed fear, someone replied, "If I fear breaking my leg, should I just break it?"
I appreciate such witty comments.
But you don't have to instead of dwelling on the fear shift your focus to enjoying the moment.
