It is the 22nd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack and its time we discussed the references to Thelemic occultic ritual that make up the entirety of the day. It was all homage to Aleister Crowley.
First let's look at its title - 9/11:
Crowley explains in his book ‘GEM ATRIA’ 9. Most Evil, because of its stability.
11.The great magical number and the magic force itself.
Thus, in titling the ceremony as ‘9/11’, this is a nod to Crowley as code for the ‘Most Evil Magic Force Itself’.

In 2001, on the date of Sirius’ heliacal rising, September 11th, we find the planet Saturn (Lord of Death) in Gemini (the twins), one of two celestial gateways where the ecliptic intersects the Zodiac, representing a gateway to the ‘otherworld’ (the gates of death), whilst also in conjunction with Pluto (Hades).

As above so below, as Gemini is the gateway in the sky, the Hermetic towers of Hermes act as an Earthen gateway to the otherworld, in their current form, the Twin Towers.
In the destruction of these modern representations of the mythical Pillars of Hermes, signified the opening of a metaphysical doorway. The Twin Towers, and the space between them, represented a gateway and their destruction signified the splitting of the barrier between worlds, creating a portal. The idea of the Twin Towers as gateways links to the Astrological sign of Gemini, the Twins, and its position as a celestial/heavenly gateway.
