.@letsblinkit just sent me an order filled with ants.
It gets funny.. I asked for replacement items.. even that was filled with ants.
Now it gets bad— the app and the customer support system is sooooo poor. Just filled with dark patterns. Unable to raise the complaint again.
Customer service calls me up, unable to resolve the issue.
The only way I could speak to customer care was because I held the replacement delivery boy kind of hostage. Obviously I wasn’t violent, etc. but their rider support call centre is way more responsive.
Eventually. I gave up.. no refunds, no apologies from them.
But I think there are multiple issues at play here:
1. Dark patterns: ministry of consumer affairs is raising issues against dark patterns: m.timesofindia.com
2. Food safety: Maharashtra’s FDA has recently
Closed down 3 outlets of the iconic Bademiya because of cockroaches and rats. Ants are no less, maybe @mybmc or the correct authorities should inspect this @letsblinkit dark store which delivered me ants. indiatoday.in
I’m not a hard to please consumer- the simple resolution was:
- Pick up of all damaged items
- No questions asked refund
- An apology
I was successfully able to only get the first one from @letsblinkit and hence the rants.
This is how companies take their customers for..
Granted.
This also makes me wonder why is the @jagograhakjago not active on Twitter.
In America, I would’ve probably become a millionaire due to this fault of @letsblinkit, but India mein “sab chalta hai” is the approach.
Sad.
