Had a similar incident when getting the oil changed in my work truck. Guy tried telling me my diff levels were low (they weren't) and needed to be changed (on a truck with 40k km, which is ridiculous).

@BowtiedBum Tried to stop me from leaving, basically had to order them to put the cover back on my differential and if they touch any fucking thing other than the main oil pan, or try to charge me for anything else, to expect a lawsuit.
@BowtiedBum Then tried to pull the "tire tread wear" bullshit on me despite the fact I rotated my tires the week before, and at 36k km, you absolutely do not need to replace your tires lol.
