Thread on Sangh
I was away for some time visiting old friends & colleagues from RSS/VHP. I wanted to see if there is any disconnect in the views between the top Sangh leadership and the rest of the organization. My findings :
a) Most agree with top leadership that Hinduism

needs to be diluted and made acceptable to Islam and Christianity to create "Akhand Bharat". Of these at least 50% agree that for Akhand Bharat Hinduism/Sanatan Dharma may need to be discarded completely
b) Almost all agree that protecting national geographic boundaries is

more important than protecting Hindus and the religion. Shockingly many are fine with what Bhagwat said about eating beef for unity. I am sure in a few years many sanghis will indeed start eating beef
c) About 67% agreed with Bhagwat that Hinduism is not a religion but a

way of life. In Sitaram Goel ji's framework of 8 misconceptions of RSS the misconceptions are very prevalent across the entire organization
d) Not one person was willing to take cudgels for Sanatan Dharma/Hinduism against the Sangh. Organization is above all. Next nation.

Hinduism/Sanatan Dharma nowhere.
e) All still support BJP. Even the many who dislike Modi. RSS/VHP destiny is deeply connected to BJP. It's a game of posts, favours now and organizational interests. Sangh incl VHP will come out big in elections. Existential issue for them
