I made this thread showing top 10 Cancers and how you can reduce your risk . (Pls share and repost)

BREAST CANCER
-Self breast examination
Exclusive breastfeeding
-Reducing use of Oral contraceptives
- Reducing your exposure to Radiation
-Reduce your Alcohol
-If you're Obese try and lose weight
-Stop smoking
-Healthy diet
-Know if Breast Cancer runs in your family
LUNG CANCER
- stop smoking
- Try and avoid staying around people smoking (Passive smoking is almost like being a smoker)
-Try and avoid unnecessary exposure to radiation
PROSTATE CANCER
-Try and know if it Prostate cancer runs in your family.
-Eat healthily
-Stop smoking
-Once you are above 40 your Doctor might order a PSA (Prostate specific antigen) and other tests as required
CERVICAL CANCER
-Get Vaccinated with HPV Vaccines
-Go for your Pap smears If sexually active.
-Avoid multiple sexual partners
-Avoid unprotected sex
- Cut down on smoking
LIVER CANCER
-Reduce alcohol
-Stop smoking
- stop eating mouldy groundnut
- Stop eating Spoilt tomatoes (Ata Esha)
-Get your Hepatitis B Vaccines
-Practice safe sex
- Avoid sharing sharps. (have your own)
COLORECTAL CANCER
-Stop smoking
-Reduce Alcohol
-Know If it runs in your family
-As you age above 40 try and get a colonoscopy (looks into your intestines), if it runs in your family your Dr might suggest earlier.
- Eat healthily
STOMACH CANCER
- stop smoking
- Reduce your Alcohol
- If you have been told you have an Ulcer. Please try and get an endoscopy ( not everyone tummy pain is Ulcer)
-Eat lots of fruit and vegetables
- Healthy diet choices
PENIS and VAGINA CANCER
-Get your HPV Vaccines
-Avoid unprotected sex
-Try not to have multiple partners
- Organisations like @quintahealth have digitalised Vaccination exercises. You can send them a message to get screened and Vaccinated.
TESTICULAR CANCER
- Do a regular self testicular examination
-see a lump or anything suspicious or abnormal, go to the hospital
