Mehdi means the one who is guided and one who guides others. Prophet Muhammad (saw) described Imam Mehdi and said “Allah sends a person from my progeny, his name shall be my name and his fathers name shall be my father’s name.” So the Mehdi will be Mohammad bin Abdullah.
He shall be from Ahlul Bayt, he must be from the tribe of Quraysh from banu Hashim from the descendant of Prophet Mohammad (saww) through Fatima(sa) and Ali(as). He will fill the earth with justice as it was filled with injustice and tyranny.
Imam Mehdi (aj) is a link between the minor and major signs. So when all the minor signs have passed then is the time of Mehdi to advent. The age of Mehdi is an age of intense struggle, wars, trials and tribulations, corruption.
He will come in a time when entire earth will be filled with evil and injustice. Their is killing upon killing, Muslim blood being shed everywhere. The location where he will come from is slight dispute among the scholars.
From is slight dispute among the scholars. The first set of hadith says that black flags will rise from the land of #khorasan and when you see the black flags give bai’ah to him because Mahdi(aj) is with them.
Another hadith says that a king will die in Arab peninsula and sons of king will fight and quarrel over the leadership and to avoid this quarrel this man (Mahdi) will leave Medina in secret and go to Makkah to avoid this quarrel.
Yet people will follow him and there they will make Bai’ah

After this, 80 Different Banners (flags) will send an army to kill the Mahdi and each #ARMY will be having around 12,000 men. The number itself tells that there will be fierce battles. And they all will be defeated by Mahdi.
So when these occurs, it is the sign of Mahdi. After numerous battles and battle of Constantinople, #Antichrist #Dajjal will emerge. During the end of rule of Imam Mehdi, Isa ibn Maryam will descend and will pray behind Mahdi. This is a sign of respect to this Ummah.
#HazratIsa (as) will kill Dajjal and will live for many years, certain narrations say he will live for many years and will outlive Imam Mehdi. And rest Allah knows the best. So Always and every day, pray for it sincerely and wish that ithe time for reappearance of imam Mahdi (aj)
