I feel like we could potentially break into a whole new group of people, who likely would oppose "open streets", but welcome freedom streets.
It's not stupid if it works.

Ok, our new street design will expand pedestrian space, add separated bike infra, remove 10 street-parking spots, and eliminate the continuous turn lane for green space.
We call this street design "freedom streets" because it grants freedom of mobility to more people.

I'm just spit balling the elevator pitch here...
