What's going on in Lewiston... There was just another homicide, which led to a 5 hour standoff b/w this man (who was arrested for drug trafficking & illegal firearm possession in July '23) & police. The deceased victim was also recently arrested for domestic violence.
For comparison, 29 people were killed in the state of Maine in 2022. 19 have been killed in Lewiston in the past 10 days.
