"Israel admits Apache helicopters fired on their own civilians running from the Supernova music festival."
❌DISINFORMATION ❌
This whole story is a perfect example how disinformation works.
1/X
It got a lot of attention after it was spread by @Partisangirl.
But it had already been published 50 mins before by @Megatron_ron, what we assess as the source for @Partisangirl.
2/X
Soon people like @jacksonhinklle and @QudsNen took over some of the claims.
@Partisangirl and @jacksonhinklle are known as spreaders of disinformation within the fact checking community.
3/X
The claim that Apache helicopters fired on their own civilians running from the Supernova music festival is WRONG based on Geolocations.
The original video is shared by @IDFonline on 09 OCT 2023. From 2:06 to 2:20 are the 14 sec they republished.
4/X
Frame 0:00 - 0:03 is located at 31.489921, 34.494832
Just behind the border fence inside Gaza: people running back coming from a breach.
Based on this geolocation it is highly likely these were Hamas terrorists returning from their 07 Oct 2023 raid.
Thx to @GeoRaccoon

Frame 0:04 - 0:08 is located 31.48901, 34.49712.
Here you see Hamas terrorists going towards the breach. Breach is the start of the road seen above.
Thx to @COUPSURE
Third frame is impossible to GeoLocate, but based on Sentinel some destroyed cars are on the same road.
6/X
Conclusion 1:
The whole video of 14 seconds was from 07 Oct 2023 and shows the IDF Apache attack at Hamas terrorists returning through a breach inside Gaza.
2 raided villages are just a few km's away: Nahal Oz and Kfar Azza.
No relation with the festival at all.
7/X
Similar footage was shared by accounts known for disinformation to build up a bigger basis for the above claims.
But every found GeoLocation of this footage also points to Apache helicopters attacking Hamas terrorist near the border fence.

3 of the 4 above GeoLocations are from the road at this 👇breach.
When Hamas terrorists entered this area they destroyed a Merkava and the video (30+ mins) ended with a massacre of at least 8 civilians in Nir Oz.
13/X
Conclusion 2:
Every geolocated frame in this video was from 07 Oct 2023 and shows IDF Apache attacks at Hamas terrorists near the border fence/wall.
No relation with the festival at all.
14/X
Now we have proven that this footage is not related to the festival we also will address the claim that IDF is shooting its own people.
The answer is in the article they(Disinfo accounts) quoted, but they only took over parts of that article that backed up their narrative.
15/X
Conclusion 3:
That article stated how carefully the pilots were, but at one point they decided that the threshold was crossing the fence.
There is no indication at all that they were randomly attacking civilians nor did they admit to do so.
17/X
Last claim we address is the one with the burned vehicles.
At this time there is no GeoLocation, nor witnesses statement, at all backing up the claim that this is caused by Apache Helicopters.
18/X
This area is at 31.449214, 34.567752, 10 km's from the Festival Grounds.
Thx to @COUPSURE
19/X
The footage of the festival doesn't provide any evidence either.
Conclusion 4:
There is no evidence at all, at this point, to back up the claim that Apache helicopters were responsible for the destruction of cars near the festival.
