Her journey took a nightmarish turn when she encountered Kobina Nyame, a notorious criminal, and drug user. Nyame, brandishing a knife, threatened the elderly woman with violence unless she acquiesced to his demands for sexual favors. He callously dragged her into the nearby bush, where the reprehensible act took place. After the assault, he warned the victim against disclosing the incident, threatening her life if she spoke out.
Struggling to return home, the victim found assistance from a motorbike rider to whom she recounted her horrifying experience.
