HOW TO BOOST YOUR CONFIDENCE:
1. TALK SLOWLY
People who feel they aren't worthy of being listened to tend to talk quickly.
They think what they have to say isn't important. So ensure that you aren't rushing. Be calm!
2. ACCOMPLISH SMALL GOALS
Try making your bed in the morning. If you do this regularly, you will have accomplished the first task of the day.
It will give you a small sense of pride and not be afraid to try again or make the next tough decision.
3. WALK 25% FASTER
Observe carefully, and you discover that body action is result of mind action.
Throw your shoulders back, lift up your head, move ahead a little faster, and feel self-confidence grow.
4. DRESS NICELY
This may come across as cliche. But when you dress nicely, you will most likely feel more confident.
5. EMPOWER YOURSELF WITH KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge is one of the best strategies for building self confidence.
6. BE A FRONT SEATER
Ever notice in meetings how the back seats fill up first? The reason is lack of confidence.
Sitting up front builds confidence. Practice it.
7. PRACTICE MAKING EYE CONTACT
Make your eyes work for you.
Aim them right at the other person's eyes. It not only gives you confidence.
It wins you confidence, too.
8. EAT HEALTHY FOODS
Fix your metabolic health.
Eat:
- Meat
- Eggs
- Fruits
- Vegetables
- Fermented dairy
The last taste in our mouths is often reflective of how we feel--so eat something good for you.
9. PRACTICE SPEAKING UP AT EVERY MEETING
When you are in a meeting. Speak, make a suggestion, ask a question.
And don’t be the last to speak. Try to be the ice-breaker, the first one in with a comment.
And never worry about looking foolish.
10. FIX YOUR VOICE
How you say something matters 10 times more than what you say.
When you are speaking:
-Don't mumble
-Don't speak fast
-Don't be afraid to pause
-Don't talk from your throat
-Don't say "like" or "um" too much
You'll sound much more confident.
You have two options:
1. Complain about how hard and unfair your life is or,
2. Get into the top 20% of men who have all the fun and success.
This audiobook is for those who want option 2.
