Last cycles I've done pretty well for myself.
I've started this journey with $1k and ramped it up over $100k.
I believe a huge part of this is due to recognizing the 4 phases a crypto bull run ๐Ÿงต๐Ÿ‘‡

Money flows into Bitcoin, pushing up prices and initiating the bull market.
We've seen this countless of times and this time will be no different.
Bitcoin pulls the entire crypto market up with it.

More money flows into Ethereum, which eventually starts to outperform Bitcoin.

Money flows into other large caps which see a very strong increase in price.
Meanwhile, price growth in Ethereum and BTC is slowing.

After going vertical, large caps are peaking.
Next, mid caps, small caps, and shit-coins are all pumping at the same time.
Everything seems to soar into infinity, regardless of the fundamentals.
6/ At some point, the bull market comes to an end and prices start to drop everywhere.
This is the general way how bull runs play out.
They even quite often play out in miniature versions in the smaller rallies in between.
7/ Now the most important part:
How do you play this?
I'm generally not a fan of rotating 100% of your entire capital in btc first, eth second, large caps third and all the rest fourth.
Why? The different phases usually flow into each other, so you can't time it 100%.
8/ Instead I like to adopt an allocation % approach.
Especially in the bear market I own most of my capital in btc, ethereum and stables.
This usually plays out extremely well as they flow into the best play for the first phase when the bull market starts.
9/ Once I see ethereum take the lead I start to position myself more and more into fundamentally strong altcoins to try and frontrun the next phase.
Then I generally start to move out entirely out of both btc and eth and hold 100% mid and small cap alts.
Not even stables.
10/ And last but not least?
Taking profit season.
In the last phase you start to scale out immediately after every large win you take.
You don't rotate anymore into other alts with the profit you make.
This is the phase to make your life for the better.
11/ You repeat this proces in the next bear market where the frontrunning of every bull run starts.
Fyi:
During the whole phase I still hold key altcoin positions.
Just different allocations in terms of %.
Something I've made plenty clear over the last 2 years.
