If you look at last cycle many alts did majority of their move in a 2 month period then creating that eiffel tower shape back down
The scary thing in crypto is emotions unchecked you can chase something up and then be down 80% within 2 months
Without a process it will be you

Even late in Jan this year- most alts including layer 1s did a 60-70% decline to Aug/Sept
It will happen many times - An thats why you have to only enter when asymmetric upside is available
Once you get to the "should i buy now" you are in a game of musical chairs

Alts peaked before BTC last cycle
Hence focusing on BTC reaching ath meaning alt needs to go back above its previous ath is unfounded
Generally once an alt has gone on a 2 month exponential run with a greater then 10x run from its consolidated base it doest get back there

As you know im a bull and have been long so I dont say this to discourage or to say im bearish
Just to say that without rigour and a plan beyond "when will BTC top" you will lose
Noone wants to lose money - it happens because you dont look at specifics and rely on platitudes

There will already be alts that peaked for the entirety of the cycle
Some alts peak early, some mid cycle, some late and so you have to have a process that considers this and not just"we are so early"
Buying and selling both require multiple factors and inputs not all in or out
