Weekend Manipulation Po3
How to predict and trade weekend manipulations
A thread ๐Ÿงต
Po3 (power of 3)
Accumulation = price is ranging with liquidity accumulating on both sides
Manipulation = price is being manipulated to take one side of the liquidity
Distribution / Expansion = price is expanding in the other direction
Hence also the name AMD or AME
Weekend PA
You are taught not to trade weekends because institutional traders don't participate as financial markets are closed. This means less liquidity, thinner order books so easier manipulation by whales who hunt your SL
But what if you can predict the manipulation?
You need to identify 2 key aspects:
- market structure
- liquidity in the opposite direction of the market structure
$AVAX trade I took on stream, 18. Nov:
- bullish structure given by the m5 BoS
- m5 FVG below
Price was manipulated to sweep the m5 FVG below then expanded
Let's take a look at another trade I took on stream, this time on $BTC 2 weeks ago
- bearish structure given by the m15 bearish BoS
- H1 FVG above the accumulation
Of course price was manipulated to fully fill that FVG then nuked
But how do I place my entry, TP and SL? Glad you asked!
Entry: inside the liquidity you think price will get manipulated to OR market after manipulation.
TP: Liquidity above
SL: Extreme of the manipulation
If you want, you can even move the SL to BE after the expansion starts
Out of the last 10 weekends, 8 weekends gave such a trade.
This model was presented last week in @Chroma_Trading and some people already profited this past weekend on it!
I am not saying it's easy and free money, but rather a thing to look for on an otherwise boring weekend!
