In a 180-day time frame, I will have over 10,000 followers and have generated a couple $100,000
All through a single roadmap
If this was really happening, here's how I'd build myself back up:
I am going to break this down into 3 main stage
1. Less than 500 followers
2. 500-5000 followers
3. 5000+ followers
The strategy is different based on the follower range
Stage 1:
When my account is less than 500 followers (First 45 days)
My goal is simple: Attract as many targeted followers as possible and befriend them
How can I do this?
To get followers here's the content strategy
- Post 2 story based long form posts a week
- Post 2 technical/authority based long form posts a week
- Record 3 videos a week of me sharing my screen and breaking down a strategy
- Post 2 transformational content pieces a week of where I was before vs where I am now
To befriend your followers
- Reach out to 3 people a day who follow you and ask them what they're working on
- Respond to all your comments on your account with questions
- Engage with your followers content with questions
- Take those people to your DMs and jump in calls
Stage 2:
When my account has 500-5000 followers (Day 45-150)
The strategy is now more focused on NURTURING AND GROWING
What do I mean by this?
I have people who follow you now who are targeted but this doesn't mean they all trust me yet
I need to be applying my nurturing framework, here it is
- Create a list of 100 frequently asked questions your audience has about getting results from what you offer
- Answer those questions in value tweets (these are 280-character stand-alone tweets)
- Create a series on some specific value around your offer
- Share more stories and lifestyle-based content to get your followers to trust you on a personal level
- Answer those FAQs from step one with video-based content where you share your screen
- Post visual image breakdown every single week
Stage 3:
When my account has 5000 followers (Day 150 and beyond)
I call this stage the AUTHORITY POINT
Money Twitter is not as big as people think
You don't need millions of followers or even tens of thousands to generate revenue
My friends generate 6 figures every few months with less than 5k followers
When you hit the point of 5k+ followers, your goal is to produce unique content
Content that is RECONZIABLE by your specific brand
When people see your content they know it's your account
This happens through
- Story-based content with images that relate to the story
- Connecting with big names that actually shout you out and engage with your account
- Hot takes that go against the grain
- Giving your perspective on your journey and business that others can resonate with
