Can somebody please fucking explain to me what dumbass developer defined the phrase “synchronous operations” to mean “one after the other” when the word “synchronous” literally means “happening at the same time”
I feel like a fucking psycho writing “async” to make shit run in parallel when the word “asynchronous” literally means “not simultaneous or concurrent in time”
The guys dming me what asynchronous programming means… I know what it means… that’s the whole reason I posted this… that it was dumb to name it that.
I’d recommend neutropics but not sure if that will help with reading comprehension
“Technically it is logical because-“ doesn’t matter. Makes no sense in-context for most devs writing high level, and it’s ambiguous on its own without the “technical” context. Use a different word.
You can tell a girl she smells “fruity” if she smells like tomato sauce, and even though it’s technically true, it makes absolutely no sense in the context. Say she smells like tomato sauce
