When he visited Srirangam in 1922, he composed an extempore poem in Sanskrit on Ranganatha Sawmy titled śrī raṅganātha prabhodham. Each and every verses oozes beauty and devotion.

prahlāda sādhana by Sri Duggirala
There is a famous verse in Andhra āṃdhrabhāgavatamu
పొడిచినఁ,దిట్టినఁ,గొట్టినఁ,
బడుచుందురు గాని పరమభాగవతులు; దా
రొడఁబడరు మాఱు సేయఁగఁ
bhāgavatas never retort or react even if someone man-handles them. They dwell in their aim, that is vishnu.

Gandhi used to call his satyagraha as prahlāda sādhana in public. Based on above verse, Sri Duggirala advanced it by saying if we follow prahlāda sādhana, we will get narasimha siddhi. Gandhi liked above till ahimsa part and didnt like Narasima part.Asked duggirala to stop that

Sri Duggirala Gopala Krishnayya is probably one and only person in Telugu history who had guts to do a public rebuttal on poet Vemana who protested H idol worship.

In his Madras speech,he retold the verse of Jagannatha Pandita "न याचे गजालिं" as -
न याचे रिफारं - न वा स्टीलु फ्रेमुं
न कौन्सिल् न तु प्रीविकौन्सिल् पदं वा।
स्वराज्यार्ति-हन्ताङ्ग्लराज्ये नियन्ता
फरङ्गी फिरङ्गी दृगङ्गी करोतु॥
