If you’re planning to have kids, read this:
No culture means excessive stress
Traditionally, mothers would have had a whole tribe of extended sisterhood (grandmothers, aunts, friends) to help out.
Since culture is broken and most families have enmity between each other, the father must take on an abnormal amount of nurturing duties.
This is going to cause some degree of dissociation (numbing of emotions to cope) and lead to impaired dopamine.
This is why new fathers are typically low motivation and gain weight.
Kids will cry a TON
They will cry 10s of times per day. Every time you’ll feel a little twinge inside of you. Something messing with your internal anatomy.
That’s the effect of T being lowered and you being modified to a more nurturing posture due to the cries.
If a wife is thoughtful and understands male anatomy, she won’t be so keen that you become effeminate biologically to help her deal with the kids crying.
Feeding kids is easy
Any European-descended child is adapted for a neolithic diet. Their favourite meat will be fatty pork. They will love dairy. They will reject most vegetables aside from root vegetables. They will love fruit.
They also have a penchant for sugar which is 100% correct. Failure to feed them sugar will result in protein scavenging for glucose needs and inhibit things like hair growth. You see this often in young kids with minimal hair growth or no growth in the front area of their hair.
The human taste palette is accurate, just learn to listen to it.
Kids have no theory of mind
ToM is the ability to perceive the perspective of another human. This isn’t learned, it’s genetic. Kids under 5 won’t have it.
Your kids won’t be able to understand that you have your own mind and own perspective. They aren’t capable of empathy so go easy on them.
That said, they will have a full understanding of respect and fairness.
My motto: child expectations, adult respect.
Almost nothing you do matters
Feeding them matters. Keeping them alive and safe of course. But all the rest? Morality? Personality? Behaviour? Doesn’t matter. “Don’t sit too close to the TV!” Doesn’t matter. Your kid hits another kid, doesn’t matter.
They won’t become a murderer don’t worry.
All your worries are wrong. They are the maximum expression of human frailty. You can’t predict the future, and the neuroticism about the future will lead you to do some fucked up things to your kid that are FAR more dangerous.
The highest parenting ideal is to build an environment (territory) where your kids love their life.
Focus on the territory and be someone they can trust.
That's a wrap!
