Understanding the Base-10 System is of the uptmost importance. Base systems are made up of one less than the number they are based off of (i.e. In base-12, there are only 11 numbers). It is often said the Babylonians and Sumerians used a Segagesimal System or Base-60 System.
Base-60 is composed of the numbers 1 to 59.
NOTE: ZERO is not a number, but a placeholder used for scalar expansion and contraction.

Our Decimal System is optimized to organize ALL other Number. All other base systems stem from the Decad (1-10), the Number TEN. The very word DECIMAL comes from DECAD. TEN is primordial & foundational in the Numerical Universe. Ten is more of a CONCEPT than simply a Number.
TEN is Nature’s way of organizing herself. NINE is the largest number in the decimal system BUT TEN is a convenient way of organizing all of the nine numbers. Since there are only nine numbers to existence. Ten borrows the ‘1’ and the ‘0’ by putting ‘something’ with ‘no-thing’.
In this way, all of the other numbers reflect this duality by the very nature of their organizational structure. The Ennead, ONE through NINE, show their unique built-in order with their scalar invariance. Ten is always reduced to a Single Digit, it's Digital Root. 10 = 1+0 = 1.

The Vedic People understood the importance and supremacy of this base-ten system by placing NINE Numbers around a CIRCLE, the CIRCLE represents the Number ZERO with the very center of the Circle being the Vector Equilibrium or Bindu, the Zero Point.
NINE is placed at the APEX or TOP of the Circle & moving clockwise around the circle, these NINE digits, these Nine Beings are encased around the Eternal O, the HOLY ZERO with the Zero performing its MATHMAGIC as the "Placeholder" for the rest of the digits.

The Enneagram can be created by three equilateral triangles shifted 40°, which creates a Nine-Pointed figure that we will inscribe within a Circle and, as mentioned, label ONE though NINE with NINE at the TOP or APEX. A Triangle can now be drawn from the 9, 6 and 3 NODES.

The Infinity Sequence (1,2,4,8,7,5) represents the third dimension while the oscillation between the 3 and 6 demonstrates the fourth dimension, which is the higher dimensional magnetic field of an electrical coil. The 3, 9, and 6 always occur together with the 9 as the CONTROL.

.142857 or 1/7 is referred to as the 'Infinity Sequence'. As these six points together with the point numbered 9 are said to represent the main stages of any complete process, and can be related to the notes of a musical octave, 9 being equivalent to "Do" and 1 to "Re" etc.
The Infinity Sequence is found in many mathemagical places. One such place is the Digital Roots of the Powers of 5. No matter how far we progress in the Powers of 5 (5³,5⁴.. to INFNITY), the Digital Root will always be one the Six Numbers of the Infinity Sequnce: 1,4,2,8,5 or 7.
1-2-4-8-7-5 is, also, found in the Pascal Triangle, or moaccurately the Meru Prastera Configuration.
