As per CBI FIR Entire case can be summarized in one line :
"तुम मुझे अपनी जमीन दो, मै तुम्हे रेलवे मे नौकरी दूंगा"

This scam happened between 2004-2008 when Lalu was Railway Minister during UPA time

Lalu Prasad Yadav is accused of giving job of Grade D in Indian Railway to many people without following process and in return.....
He took land from them as bribe since someone has cash or not but everyone have small or big piece of land

As per CBI :
- no advertisement or any public notice was issued for such appointments
- with in 3 days of application, appointees got substitute (Temporary) job
- As they transferred their land to family of Lalu their job was made permanent

- over 50% of the recruited candidates were from the constituencies of Lalu’s family members
- appointees were appointed in different zonal railways at Mumbai, Jabalpur, Kolkata, Jaipur and Hajipur
- In continuation of this modus operandi, about 1,05,292 Sq. feet of immovable

properties situated at Patna were acquired by Lalu and his family members through five sales deeds and two gift deeds
- Modus operandi was Lalu family took land from them by sales deed at very low price n that too was not paid since payment is shown as in cash.

CBI alleged that four parcels of lands acquired by Lalu's family for just Rs 7.5 lac “from poor Group D applicants” were sold by his wife Rabri Devi at Rs 3.50 crore to Syed Abu, former RJD MLA, in a collusive deal
So Rabri bought land from Group D applicant at Rs 7.5 L in cash

This four-storey bungalow located at New Friends Colony in Delhi is registered in name of A.B. Exports Pvt Ltd that is owned and controlled by Tejashwi Yadav and his family

According to CBI, they have detected assets worth of Rs 600 crore from Lalu's family that's include land, bungalow, cash, jewelry etc
