Maybe I exaggerated a little in this case, but that's not very far from what most of airdrop hunters are doing in CT
And that's why I just started making threads a couple weeks ago
Today I've seen another thread with 100% WRONG information and lies so I decided to make this thread and to take the chanche to explain a bit my point of view and my experience in CT
Here some points I wanna talk about 👇
Clearly, these are bullsh*ts, aka clickbait
Maybe I exaggerated a little in this case, but that's not very far from what most of airdrop hunters are doing in CT
And that's why I just started making threads a couple weeks ago
Today I've seen another thread with 100% WRONG information and lies so I decided to make this thread and to take the chanche to explain a bit my point of view and my experience in CT
Here some points I wanna talk about 👇
1) Clickbaiting 🎣
👉 Maybe is the only way to gain interactions, and maybe without this approach I'll never gain visibility, but I don't care, that's my approach and I can survive without visibility
Method 1⃣: making you regret the money you didn't earn in the past airdrops
Example: 👉Did you miss $100,000+ $JUP airdrop?👈
Reality: Most of eligible wallets made 200->2000 $JUP, ($150->$1500), I don't know if anyone made $100k with $JUP, I doubt it, but in case we're talking about a Whale or a trader with billions of volume on @JupiterExchange
👉 Maybe is the only way to gain interactions, and maybe without this approach I'll never gain visibility, but I don't care, that's my approach and I can survive without visibility

👉Nobody knows certainly the tasks to do to be eligible, there is nothing sure in airdrops, much less how much the gain will be
👉 When the criteria are guaranteed the airdrop will be really small, since airdrops are trending and so much people would farm a sure airdrop, sometimes with 10+ wallets or even 100 if it's in testnet
Example: 👉 Cost: $0, Time: 10 min Gains: $10k 👈
Can someone really believe this?

They're points systems so even if fees are low, or the bridge is from L2, you're not going to earn more than a couple dollars without moving big amount of $$$
And even if you have money to move, don't forget that there are risks involved: I'd never move all my ETH to a brand new project just to accumulate points for an airdrop: new projects are way riskier than tested platforms
👉 In points systems the big gains are for whales who are able to make Millions of Volume and for the influencers with hundreds of referrals: you're not going to earn $8000 saying GM on discord or following a projects twitter, I'm sorry to disappoint you
👉 Said that, it's still worth to participate in points systems, I participate too, and if I like the project I even move funds there, but be realistic, if you move $100 dollars on a lending platform and you gain a $80 airdrop is a good play, dreaming to gain $1000+ will get you disappointed

what are the problems you ask?
1: Not verified information: for $MAVIA there was a cap of 100,000 users getting the airdrop and the cap was reached at the time of the post 😂
2: Deadline is 7 Feb, 3 days, not 5 like he says
3: It is a confirmed and free airdrop, can you expect $3000 from it?
Of course not: for just downloading the game you earn 12,5 $MAVIA (not 103,5 as shown in the picture), these are lies, you can earn more if you buy a land (1ETH), surely not for free
Said that, I like @MaviaGame and there'll be other airdrops, so it still makes sense to create a profile for next airdrop (from 7 feb) but it's too late for the first one

I was happy to see that there is no message like this on their Discord (Happy because announcing the criteria would mean that we're all going to enjoy our $BERA airdrop worth 3$)
But for this guy we can earn $10,000+ by just doing what the team said to do
I've seen 10+ threads including this screenshot, maybe some of them believed it was true without verifying and it was a mistake and not a proper lie
That's the last trend: Making up Discord messages from the team

Everyone is working for their own business and nobody is working to make others rich, and there's nothing bad in that, but don't forget it
Said that, I'm still thankful for many threadors in CT, following them helped me at the beginning to become independent and the return I made in this years is also thanks to them, and thanks to my dedication and study that was behind my moves, if I only followed what people suggested to do here I'd just have earned a couple airdrops worth small amounts of money
Research, study, be consistent, go deep in the projects, the thread are good to follow but after that is your job to dive in and maximize your efforts and your chanches
