This is the strategy I used to become profitable as a 16yo.
Whales and Market Makers use it and so should you...

In this thread I will go over these points:
•Identify High Probability Orderblocks
•Entry placement
•Stoploss placement
•Take Profit placement
🔸What is an Orderblock?
•Orderblocks are areas where Market Makers and big players put their limit orders
•This makes these areas highly likely to hold if you've identified them correctly
🔸How to identify Orderblocks?
There are three types of Orderblocks:
•Bullish OB
•Bearish OB
•Breaker Blocks
🔸Bullish Orderblock 1:
Can be a sequence of:
•1 Candlestick
•2 Candlesticks
•3 Candlesticks
•Must be a RED candlestick
🔸Bullish Orderblock 2:
Can be a sequence of:
•1 Candlestick
•2 Candlesticks
•3 Candlesticks
•Must be a RED candle
•Must be at the start of a new uptrend
🔸Bearish Orderblock:
•Basically the same as the bullish orderblocks, but inverted.
•Must be a GREEN candle
Breaker block:
•Can be any Orderblock which has failed
•Red breaker = Bearish
•Green breaker = Bullish
🔸How to identify a high probability Orderblock?
•Orderblock led to a market structure break (MSB)
•Liquidity rests before the Orderblock
•Liquidity can be either a high/low, or a fair value gap (FVG)
🔸Entry placement
There are two three main ways to trade an Orderblock:
•LTF Confirmation (This one is always best IMO)
•Entry at midpoint of the Orderblock
•Entry at the start of the Orderblock
🔸LTF Confirmation:
•Go 12 timeframes below the timeframe the Orderblock is on.
•In this example we have a 12H Orderblock, so we go down to 1H timeframe for LTF confirmation
•Look for your entry model (I personally trade SFP's)
🔸Video Example of how to use LTF confirmation:
🔸Advantages of this method:
•Accurate entry and higher RR (more profit)
•Higher probability to play out
🔸Entry at start of Orderblock
•Entry at the beginning of the Orderblock
•Half of the RR compared to the midpoint entry
•Higher chance of getting filled
•Works best on smaller Orderblocks
•Stoploss below the Orderblock
🔸Entry at midpoint of Orderblock
•Doubles your RR ratio compared to the earlier method •Higher chance of not getting filled
•Works best on wide Orderblocks
•Stoploss below the Orderblock
🔸Tips:
•Overall I would learn LTF confirmation instead of blindly putting limit orders. This will make you a sniper🎯
•Only trade high probability Orderblocks, that will raise your winning rate.
