to a greater extent, 99% of such SC/ST Act cases turn out to be false. It's shameful for humanity. no Government thought of modifying this. No one brought prevention against misuse.

once in my relatives village. a land is reserved by government for grazing of animals,one sc person start using this land for his own agriculture. some people from village protested then this sc person booked 'half' of village. almost half villagers fled away.
Another case is Dean of reputed govt medical college in Mumbai have been booked when he scold junior employee in hospital for carelessness in duty clearly misused I heard only two cases in this actβ¦and both suggest misuse of law.
Everyone in my village was complaining that the PDS owner is giving them less amount of Kerosene oil.The 3-liter mug was just of 2.5 liter when Few protested & fought.The PDS owner (a Dalit).went to Police station and logged FIR that he is being harassed because he's dalit
