Be patient with me while I build my case with examples to help you understand this thread better.
For far too long, the white and pink races have told us our histories(African histories),
to the extent that they developed European names for African ancient cities and gods,
that when they tell us Africans about those ancient cities of Africa buried underneath our feet in the African soil, we begin to think they existed in faraway ancient Europe.

This has done one major damage to the continent, and that damage is that the history of the continent got erased by changing its name.

Now, let's talk about the Ancient cities of HELIOPOLIS.
Did you know that there was an ancient city in Igbo land now referred to as "THE LOST CITY OF HELIOPOLIS"?
Did you also know that there was a city in ancient Egypt by the name "HELIOPOLIS"?
This ancient city of Egypt by the name HELIOPOLIS was known for its religious practices.
Now what does the name HELIOPOLIS mean?
HELIOPOLIS is the Latin version of the Greek word, heliopoulis, which means "City of the Sun"
The ancient Egyptian city "HELIOPOLIS" was known for the worship of Ra-atum, "the sun god"
Now pause and think about this,
We only have one place where the sun rises from, and that place is Igbo land, the "Land of the Rising Sun"
now you see why the ancient Egyptians called Igbo land HEAVEN?
because that's where "Ra" the sun god dwells.
and not only that, Ra, the sun god is believed to be the first pharaoh of Egypt.
Mind you, the names of most of the African cities and gods are not their original names, but the European names that interpret the features of these cities & gods for the European's understanding.
In the long run, this Europeanization of African cities got imported to Africa and so took the places of the true, African versions:
