If your doctor “accidentally” writes that you have cancer and then checks off a box in a diagnosis result whereas, it should be in the box that says negative, you’ll go on to treat an illness you didn’t have in the first place. You might even get ill from consuming drugs you shouldn’t be taking. Who knows, it might lead to death!
Today, I showed you a mislabeled product label from Erisco Foods where the production date and best-before date are in the wrong corner, but as usual, many of you think it’s an attack on the product. Whereas, quality should be the standard but you are ignorant of it.
Instead of making excuses for them, and using a calculator to decide what the expiration date should be, why not demand they do the right thing? Do you realize that negligence can kill? A mislabeled product should not leave the warehouse until it’s corrected.
Last week, I called out Erisco Foods to declare the sugar and salt quantity in his products, yet many of you argued that because he wrote salt and sugar on the label, that is enough. But I told you it’s not enough! We need to know their measurements in grams and milligrams.
Not paying attention to details can cost you money or even your life! Allow your brains to work, don’t fight it. Let it do what it was meant for!
A lawyer can argue that their client used Erisco foods beyond the manufacturer’s expiration date and got sick, because it wasn’t visible on the label, so the customer assumed that the product doesn’t expire.
