4. Pradhan Mantri Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana
• Objective: Provide 300 units of free electricity monthly to 1 crore households through rooftop solar installations.

Central Subsidy Scheme
• For 2 kW Systems: 60% subsidy on installation costs.
• For 2-3 kW Systems: 40% subsidy on installation costs.
Subsidy Amounts:
• 1 kW systems: ₹30,000 subsidy
• 2 kW systems: ₹60,000 subsidy
• 3 kW systems or higher: ₹78,000 subsidy
Note: Systems above 3 kW capacity are not eligible for subsidy
