Defenders
Walker, Stones, Maguire, Shaw, Trent, Chilwell, Dunk, Gomez
A lot depends on Shaw's fitness. Chilwell has missed out in the past, with Trippier being able to cover at left-back. Above is presuming Shaw is not able to play seven games in a tournament. Trippier misses out to Gomez, who offers a fourth centre-back option and covers both full-back spaces. Trippier in if Shaw isn't fit.
Braithwaite could challenge Dunk for the reserve CB spot. Guehi made progress with England, but an injury may push him down the pecking order.
James, with his injury record and competition in his position, won't go.

Midfielders
Rice, Bellingham, Mainoo, Gallagher, Maddison, Henderson
Yeah, Henderson is in there! England are lacking a potential 2nd DM, and Southgate will go with his man as a fail-safe for the potential knock-out rounds and especially later in games. Do I agree? Probably not. Do I think he goes? YES.
Rice and Bellingham are world-class. Mainoo will prove (and is proving) that he needs to be on the plane.
Maddison could be under pressure if Foden is seen as a potential attacking midfielder. Or if Trent is seen as a potential midfield option.
Gallagher covers all options.

Forwards
Kane, Toney, Saka, Foden, Rashford, Grealish
I'm going with 6, but if Maddison is left out, there will be a 7th.
Bowen/Gordon will compete with Grealish for the final place, but one could make the plane. Both offer a CF threat as well as playing wide. Grealish has a fight on his hands to take his place.
Palmer, I love him, but I don't see him dislodging any of the above.
Toney pips Watkins as Kane's understudy. There is not much to choose between them.
