Procrastination is the thief of time and the biggest enemy towards the productivity.
It has never been more important to take control of your time.
If you struggle with procrastination, break the cycle today using these ten important tips:
1) The 2-minute Rule:
- If the task can take under 2 minutes…
- Get it done right now
2) Visualize How Future You Will feel:
Imagine how it feels at the end of the day in 2 ways:
- If you’ve worked hard and stayed focused.
- If you have procrastinated and did not complete the work.
3) Put Your Phone In Another Room:
- Your phone is your biggest distraction.
- Put it in another room and get to work.
4) Break Things Down:
- Big projects = overwhelmed feelings = procrastination
- Break your tasks into small challenges to avoid this.
5) The 5-Second Rule:
- Once you’ve noticed you’re procrastinating, give yourself 5 seconds.
- By 5, get up and get back to the task you were doing.
6) Use the Eisenhower Matrix
- Sort the urgent and important
- Understand how to delegate and automate the rest
7) Eat The Frog:
- Do the most difficult task first.
- This builds momentum fast.
