5th Apr 1990, East Turkestan Islamic Party attacked the local Gov of Barin Township, Akto County. More than 200 terrorists, armed with submachine guns, pistols, explosives, and grenades, killed 6 police officers, held 10 hostages, and blew up 2 vehicles.
5th Feb 1992, terrorists blew up 2 public buses (No.52 and No.30), resulting in 3 deaths, and 23 injured.

Jun-Sep 93, East Turkestan Reform Party set off dozens of explosives planted in Kashgar city, Yecheng County, Yingjisha County and Shache County. In one of the attacks on 17th Jun, two were killed immediately by explosions so powerful that a hole was blew opened in the building roof.
10th Feb 1996, a gang of terrorists disguised as police officers, and in the name of ammunition confiscation, broke into a farm and carried out brutal attacks. They brutally killed the farmer and 2 police officers in the process.

5th Feb 1997, East Turkistan Islamic Opposition Parties rioted in Yining, resulting in 7 deaths, 198 injured (64 severely injured), more than 30 cars were destroyed, and burnt down 2 houses.
25th Feb 1997, East Turkestan Terrorists conducted a series of bus bombing attacks (Bus #2, #10 and #44) in Urumqi, resulting in 9 deaths and injured 68 passengers.

More than 10 cases of bodily harm occurred between Jun to Oct 1997, in Wushi County, Aksu Prefecture. All the victims had their ears cut off by extremist as religious punishment, because they drank alcohol. Extremists don't respect individual rights.

6th Apr 98, authorities uncovered arms smuggling operation of military pistols, SMGs, tens of thousands of different ammunitions, more than 300 explosive devices, attack plans and assassination lists. 3 police officers lost their lives during the confrontation with the terrorists.
23rd May 98, “East Turkistan Liberation Organization” sent overseas trained terrorists to deploy spontaneous combustible explosive devices at more than 40 locations in Urumqi's trade/wholesale centres, hotels and densely populated areas, resulting in more than 15 arson cases.
Sep 1998, authorities uncovered a "Usman-Imit Led terrorist group, found more than 10.4 tons of explosive materials, and destroyed 15 explosive making dens. There were dozens of locations used by the cell for training more than 150 terrorists.
From Feb 1999, authorities in Xinjiang uncovered terrorist groups organised by Kureshi, and seized more than 98 arms of different kinds, more than 4500 grenades and large amount of explosive devices & materials.

24th Oct 99, a police station in Zepu County was attacked by terrorists with guns, machetes, petrol bombs and explosives.
